Earlier this year, it became obvious that the mix of newsletter sponsorship ads sold combined with our approach to reduce publishing costs would result in excess funding of the newsletter for this year. Therefore, in keeping with the Chapter's focus on education and supporting area law enforcement, the Newsletter Committee presented a plan to the Chapter Board to use these excess funds to award Scholarships to the North Harris College Law Enforcement Training Academy.
